SOKOA was established in 1971 in order to stimulate the economic growth in the Basque Country.
At present the company has 690 shareholders and 400 employees. SOKOA has participated in creation or development of some 245 business projects, which employed about 2 600 Basque people.

Products. The company’s specialization is office chairs. The bureau of SOKOA internal design is responsible for designing and development of the products. The team of this department is closely cooperating with the Sales Department in order to take into account the changes in the market on time and to suggest the innovative products to the market, which would satisfy the users’ needs. The department of Engineering is responsible for control; its employees are performing tests and secure the observation of the manufacture standards.
